Beginning this January, make your coffee count by supporting COMPASS at Blue State Coffee!

Blue State’s Hartford shop, located at 777 Main Street in downtown, selected COMPASS Youth
Collaborative as one of four nonprofit causes that will be featured this cycle. With every purchase, customers receive a token to vote for a nonprofit of their choice. Blue State will donate 2% of every sale accordingly.

This commitment to the community reflects a company ethos: Blue State began in 2004 as a way to bring people together while giving back. To date, the coffee chain – which includes seven other locations throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island – has donated over $800,000 to over 250 charitable causes.

The menu includes more than just java, of course. In addition to coffees sourced from around the world, the shop features teas, specialty beverages, and a menu of breakfast and lunch fare, all made with local ingredients.

To all of our friends in and around Hartford: stop by Blue State’s downtown shop anytime between now and June to make your coffee count for COMPASS!
