Our Leadership Team

Isaiah J. Jacobs, a native of Hartford, has spent over a decade dedicated to youth and civic engagement. As the Workforce & Education Manager at COMPASS Youth Collaborative, he spearheads initiatives that provide youth with the skills and opportunities necessary to succeed.

Isaiah is passionate about empowering young people through education and workforce development. Isaiah is responsible for overseeing all facets of developing pathways for youth and fostering collaborative relationships with workforce partners, including COMPASS’s Training for Employment Program (TEP Together with the Education Coordinator, Isaiah connects youth to educational opportunities, whether through traditional classroom settings, earning their GED, obtaining licenses, or attending trade schools.

Overcoming generational trauma, homelessness, and familial incarceration, Isaiah pursued higher education at the University of Connecticut, earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in sport management. His work is driven by a passion for breaking cycles of adversity and fostering lasting community impact.
