As Vice President of Programing, Julia develops and oversees programming that provides youth with the tools they need to reach their potential.
Julia’s passion for working with youth was sparked by her experience as a programming officer for the Hartford Juvenile Detention Center. She also worked at Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford, managing school-based and traditional after-school club programs, most notably as the Community School Director at West Middle Community School.
Julia joined the COMPASS team in October of 2015 as a Community School Director before assuming her role as Vice President of Programming.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Julia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.
