Who We Serve

The youth we serve are Brilliant and Resilient, and given the right supports and opportunities, they can succeed.
- Youth 16-20 years old (at enrollment)
- Youth who show risk factors of gang association.
- Youth exposed to violence, may be a victim of violence or a driver of violence (victims of violence are 59% more likely to become drivers of violence).
- Young people who may possess a weapon or have criminal involvement
- Some youth are street-involved, though still connected to school, they are not engaged or on track to graduate high school
- Youth that are juvenile justice-involved
- Youth deeply engaged in risky behavior and are well-known by police and probation
- 60% of the youth we serve have lost a family member or close friend to gun violence
